Dear Suzi,

I hope all is well with you! My name is Amelia Gandomi Lewis and I am an admirer of your work. Your new book, Seal the Deal, is an inspiration for coaches and entrepreneurs worldwide. I am a graduate student of Organizational Change Management and also a life coach.

Anyhow, I am writing to you because I would like to interview you within the next month for an article that I am hoping to publish and develop into a seminar. As a coach who has their own successful practice, I would love to have your valuable insights.

My inspiration came from The Wall Street Journal which recently published an article on how executive coaches are not only being retained by companies and executives but even more sought after during these tough economic times. I believe you also posted a link to this article on your Twitter! Within my article, I explore this phenomenon more deeply by examining the major organizational issues of a downturn, how coaching addresses those issues, with the purpose of understanding how coaches must market their services in these new economic circumstances.

I would be grateful for any time you have to talk with me over the phone. If you have 30 minutes in the next month or two, please let me know some possible days and times that would work for you. I know you are extremely busy so I appreciate any time you are able to give!

Looking very forward to connecting with you.

All the best,
Amelia

PS. The article in the WSJ was: Needleman, S. E. (2009, Aug 25). Coaches still in demand — some clients look for more counseling to deal with recession. Wall Street Journal, pp. 30.
